F-4 PHANTOM

The F-4 Phantom II is an all-weather tandem two-seat, twin-engine supersonic fighter-bomber. It was employed by the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. The F-4 can accommodate more than 18,000 pounds of weapons on its nine external hardpoints and it also features the M61 Vulcan cannon.

The F-4 Phantom II was manufactured by McDonnell Douglas and introduced to service in 1960. Its top speed is over Mach 2 and its ceiling is 60,000 feet. The aircraft has a range of 1,300 miles. Variants of the F-4 include the F-4A, F-4B, F-4J, F-4N, and F-4S, among many others.
