M2/M3 BRADLEY
The Bradley Fighting Vehicle serves to transport infantry under armored protection with the capability of providing troops with suppressing fire against enemy opposition. It has been deployed in the First and Second Persian Gulf Wars. The Bradley’s primary weapon is a m242 25 mm chain gun, but it also possesses a 7.62 mm M240C chain gun and a TOW missile system. The vehicle requires a crew of 3: a commander, gunner, and driver.
The Bradley Fighting Vehicle has been in service since 1981 and is manufactured by BAE Systems, which was United Defense. Variants include the M2, M2 A1, M2 A2, M2 A3, M3, Bradley Stinger Fighting Vehicle, Warhammer Bradley, M6 Linebacker, and M7 Bradley Fire Support Vehicle. The Bradley Fighting Vehicle has an operational range of 300 miles and can reach speeds of 41 mph.
