B-2 SPIRIT
The B-2 Spirit is a multi-role heavy bomber that can deliver both conventional and nuclear weapons. It also possesses low observable stealth technology. The B-2 requires a crew of two and is capable of dropping up to 80,500 pounds of JDAM GPS-guided bombs or 16,200 pounds of B83 nuclear bombs.
The B-2 Spirit was manufactured by Northrop Grumman and it was introduced to service in 1993. The aircraft can reach a high subsonic speed and its ceiling is 50,000 feet. Twenty-one stealth bombers were produced and one was lost to a crash.
